Pear-Shaped Puffballs!

 

These pear-shaped mushrooms, often found in clusters on decaying wood, disperse spores when disturbed by a stick, raindrop, or hiking shoe. Mature mushrooms develop holes and release a cloud of dark green/brown spores carried by the wind.
